And I know at the city park, he's great.
I'm going to assume the county, the new one at the county has gone.
I haven't met her.
She's from out of town.
She's not from within the system, but I'm hoping that she's going to be a great parks director.
We've been blessed with a history of really good people leading up our city and county parks.
Every time they rebuild it after one of those things, they build it better because they said, well, we didn't think that was going to happen.
So let's build it a little better.
All the work they've done and, you know, their city park staff, you know, they don't get paid a lot of money.
Either city and especially the county people, they get paid better than they did 10 years ago.
Yeah, well, the last couple of parks directors made an emphasis on increasing their pay and benefits.
And they had county commissioners who supported them, who recognized, and I went through this as a public employee, that they eventually recognized that constantly being in a hiring cycle was more expensive than just paying people a decent amount so they stayed with you for a long time.
Yes.
And they've all come to realize that.
Nobody's getting super rich over there.
Trust me.
Nobody's getting rich at all doing those jobs, but they do it because they love it and they're great people and they do that.
So if you're one of those city or county staff people, and I'm not going to forget my state, my friends at the state parks, you guys are doing great work.
And let's forget, one other thing we talked about 10 years ago, and we'll touch on this real quick, is the friends groups in towns.
They're still there.
