And the fact that they actually get stuff done and do it so well is just absolutely amazing.

The more help you can do, and if you can't be out there, then at the very least, donate.
Become a member and donate, and maybe once in a while, show up at an event that they have and just tell them you're there for their support.
Do all these things, because as much as we just talked about how great the staff is, they couldn't do their job without these great volunteer friends groups that are actually supporting.
Some of them are work groups like the Guardians of Palmer Park.
They're mostly a work group.
They do labor.
Friends of Ute Valley Park.
Friends of Ute Valley do a lot of labor.
Then you have Friends of Garden of the Gods and Friends of Cheyenne Canyon and Friends of Cheyenne Mountain State Park.
They're more money raising groups.
They may do a little work, but they're more of the money raising groups, whichever way you want to go with that.
Be a part of it and help support these things.
And maybe in 10 years from now, we'll talk about how we have new friends groups and new parks.
I'd love that.
