So I'm going to start off with 2016.
And this was the Bright Angel Trail in the Grand Canyon.
This was the trail uphill.
From the Phantom Ranch, the bottom of the Grand Canyon up to the top at the El Tovar.
It comes out right by the El Tovar Lodge Hotel Inn up there.
This was November 1st of 2016.
It was 12.6 miles one way.
Why is this my favorite hike?
Well, I could say going down the South Kaibab Trail.
which was a lot of excitement, but that trail sucked.
It is not a fun trail.
You've been on it.
It's a very steep trail.
It's a lot of downhill.
The Bright Angel Trail, I thought, was a little bit more scenic.
Definitely a nicer environment.
And it was the frigging Grand Canyon.
I mean, I know a lot of people do the Grand Canyon, but I will bet that there are a lot of listeners listening to this right now who've never done it.
And it is not for the faint of heart, not to be done this time of year.
Like I said, this was November 1st.
