All before the summer blockbusters arrive on Memorial Day.
Netflix offered to pay almost twice as much as the studio that got the rights to the new Wuthering Heights, but the filmmakers wanted their swoony romance to play in movie theaters over the Valentine's Day weekend.
Turns out they were right, with women making up 75% of the audience.
