UKIP is doing it.
Even the Conservative Party is tinkering at it.
I feel like I've missed a political party.
The Christian People's Alliance is out there talking about it.
So Christians have now got options.
But what I want is I don't want tokenism.
So I saw a tweet by Rupert Lowe.
And the tweet was, we're going to defend our Christian heritage.
And he just came out with a list of things that he's going to ban connected to Islam.
Most of which, if not all, I applaud.
Right, brilliant.
But that is not upholding the Christian heritage of the nation.
That's saying we're going to uphold the Christian heritage of the nation.
And what that looks like is just banning Islam.
And that's not the same thing.
Or banning aspects of Islam.
And that's not the same thing.
I don't want tokenism about church buildings.
about whether you're going to have VAT on church roofs or not.
What I want is real Christian policies based on real Christian values.
