Two hits or three hits because he hit another hard hit ball down the third baseline.
He just flashed his potential again last night.
And today, the news.
We were wondering about it yesterday.
What was the holdup?
Well, there's a news conference happening even as we speak.
Nine years, $140 million, basically the cost of doing business, what the Pirates had to do, what was the alternative here.
But that doesn't mean it's not a reason to celebrate because we get Connor Griffin for, I would say, at least one more year than we thought we would.
I would imagine trade talk, Bob, doesn't start until probably two years left on that deal.
So we get at least one more year of Griffin than we thought we were going to get.
And that is a good thing.
and the Pirates being willing to basically fulfill their job requirements as a team that's interested in winning the $100 million payroll, the signing of Connor Griffin.
These are basic job requirements.
I don't know that it's cause for Mardi Gras that they're finally fulfilling them, but at least they're fulfilling them.
