Oh, you criticize the Pirates all these years.

How do you like them now?

Well, I like the fact, as I said last week, Bob, when this deal first, the news first broke of it, I like it when the worker shows up on time.

I like it when the baseball player runs out a ground ball.

I like it when the apartment dweller pays the rent on time, and I like it when the baseball owner pays the basic amount of money required to try to win.

I'm not sure that any of that is worthy of exaltation.

It's worthy of, nice job, now keep it up and do more.

That's what I'm of a mind to say today.

I don't know that he would have done it, but you're right.

The team is playing well.

And now, like I said, you have this kid signed.

And I think now he gets a chance to relax and just play baseball.

And it's not like, Bob, it's not like they paid him a billion dollars here.

They're paying him slightly more on average per year than Ryan O'Hearn is making and less per year than Anthony got on his deal.

So if the kid busts, which I don't think he will, it doesn't bankrupt the franchise.
