Hey, I used to work with your son-in-law, Mac.
Yeah, Mac, he's doing very well for himself.
He's a great kid.
How do you know that, Mike?
Because he's a very smart player.
He's extremely mature for his age.
Well, listen, if that were the case, everyone on their lineup would not be playing because everyone strikes out more than you can imagine these days.
Oh, I understand that, Bob.
But what I'm saying is I've watched β If he puts the ball in play β I mean, if he chases stuff that's not even close to the zone.
I think he'll adjust to that, and it may take him some time.
And I do agree there's an adjustment period, but I think you have to start by character and maturity.
And he knows what he's doing.
He plays a very slick fielding shortstop too.
And I think they're putting way too much β In some guys it does.
It may not with him.
Again, I go to his maturity.
I'm going to trust that and see where it goes, Mike.
