Cause we need you to be good at this.

And so, you know, that's one cool thing about like hard knocks is you get you get the vibe that every job on this roster matters and and that's uh

That's how a lot of these guys make this team.

And that's how a lot of these guys, when they don't make this team, will be attractive to other teams because they need guys who can cover uh kicks and punts.

So lot to this great sport and and every roster piece and job is so hard to get and so hard to hang on to.

Yeah, they absolutely have, and and I think it's important for us to sort of talk uh briefly at least.

Uh yeah, uh don't get me started.

We could go an hour on this, but but how do coaches find their staff?

And and you know I I forget who said it, but uh when you finally get a chance uh

And all you do is hire people you know, like hire friends or hire guys who are fun to hang out with or that you know will be loyal to you, which of course is important, but you're probably shortchanging

uh your upside if you're a coach uh or a coordinator and you just hire people you're familiar with because that probably doesn't grow uh you know what your entire you know build can be and and in the case of Brian Schottenheimer finding guys like Clayton Adams

And and like Christian Parker, I think it does speak to him that we don't really know that they've ever worked uh together or with common folks.

Uh it looks like in both cases, one before the twenty five season and one before the twenty six season, that Schott and Heimer pretty much

Probably got a group of guys together, but definitely internally with himself is just like, okay, who around the league is doing great stuff?

And

I say all that to say

The 23 and 24 Arizona Cardinals will not be remembered very well in the NFL as a football team or organization.

They they existed, George, but I'm not sure they the uh uh kids will be uh someday telling their grandkids that they got to see the twenty-four Cardinals live.

I just don't know if that's true.
