So what you're doing here with Christian Parker and the Vic Fangio defense,
is they're really emphasizing stop the run and earn the right to rush the passer on later down.
So you hear that a lot.
But, okay, so how do you do it?
And really the idea is with Fangio, lighter boxes, which means usually six bigs are on the field.
So when people say 3-4 or 4-3, if you add up those two numbers, you get seven.
That's not the case.
So we always talk about how nickel is now base in the NFL, and there's reason for that.

So, if Caleb Downs is out there, he technically is not going to be one of your two safeties.

And he's not going to be one of your two corners.
He's going to be that fifth DB.
Usually, we would have a slot corner in Dallas.
It would be Orlando Skandrick or somebody like that through the years.
