I'm so thrilled that they have gone to go get one of these safeties.
Because, man, when you watch the NFL outside of Dallas, how many teams who are awesome have awesome safeties?
Like, we can do this all day.
We can do Brian Dawkins here and Ed Reed here and.
And go all the way back to freaking Steve Atwater and Leroy Butler.
But you can then pull it forward to, like I said, Minka Fitzpatrick and Derwin James.
And Hamilton there in Baltimore.
And you just start going down the list of the best defenses.
Have these awesome, high IQ, ball huck, awesome safeties.
And we freaking got one finally.
And it's just a delight.
So I don't want to promise everybody that it's going to be an interception and a sack every game from this kid because that's way too much to ask of any safety, let alone a rookie.
