And you just ask yourself, if I was the team and if I was the head coach, would I be cool with this?
And maybe more importantly, could I stop it if I wanted to because my boss doesn't care at all?
Apparently not.
Which then circles back to what we were talking about last night at dinner.
Well, what if you tried something for 30 years and it wasn't working?
Would you try to change it up and see if you found that 1% that's keeping you from success?
Is this that?
Probably not, but it's a really interesting conversation.
It is.
Now I will say a big part of what I enjoy is the loosening of the security of this entire operation.
And let me explain real fast.
20 years ago, the concept of a guy like me or George having access to all 22 was impossible.
And then a couple years later, I discovered this black market where you could get all 22, but not from legal means.
Not anybody could do it.
You had to establish ways to do it that were a little bit.
little bit wonky and uh by 2015 or so the nfl just said screw it let's just sell them to people that want to buy them and now you can have all the all 22 i mean i'm watching it this morning there is all 22 from every game going back 10 years available to anybody with a
with a credit card and um the league did not fold it did not collapse uh scoring did not drop down to zero points per game because everybody knows everybody's plays so there is a level of access that the nfl has allowed because for years dudes they they acted like if the all 22 got out
The world would end.
The secrets of football would be explored by everybody, and then what?
