You know, this similar things will happen with AI without question.

I think we're smarter about it than we were.

I think we've got governance structures in place because we had to do that for the HRs that will help us think about how hard this is and the politics and the the workflow and the culture in ways that we were naive about uh fifteen years ago.

But

Yeah, there uh you know, there will be mischief, there will be unanticipated consequences, there will probably be some harm.

Uh, but I'm guessing

that the net effect will be positive.

That the quality will be better, safety will be better.

The harm will be overemphasized in the same way that when there's a Tesla crash, it's, you know, look, I t or Waymo crash, look, I told you we can't trust these things.

Whereas even if the liter even if the data says that net they're safer, because when there's a crash because someone's looking at their phone while they're driving, that doesn't make the newspaper.

So, you know, it'll

I'll tell you one last story when when I w I was teaching the medical students several years ago.

And I they seemed too happy and I decided to to kind of push to to throw them.

I said, You people need to realize you're entering a world where you're gonna be under just intense pressure to deliver higher quality, safer, more accessible, more equitable care, and do it at a lower cost.

And one of the students raised his hand, he said, What were you trying to do?

And I mean the name of the game is can we figure out a way of making care better and safer and less expensive and more accessible and more equitable?

And I just don't have any doubt that these tools will do that.

Uh won't be perfect.

There'll be there'll be problems.

But I think it leaves me n excited because I think the current system is just not going to achieve those goals the way we need it to.
