So it's all about the intersection of mental health and design.
Love.
You know, for years I've wanted to do a design book.
I've been approached to do a few different ones.
But design books...
I love them all.
They're all great.
Everything has its place.
Everyone's book is wonderful.
But for me, I didn't want to just do like this pretty coffee table book of these great homes that are perfectly edited and staged and gorgeous because sometimes like they can actually make you feel bad about your own space.
Like you're looking at these beautiful spaces that you'll never be able to achieve because most of those spaces are like perfectly styled for that shoe.
They don't look like that really.
And it makes people just kind of feel bad about their space.
I wanted to write a book that doesn't just teach you how to set your space up.
It teaches you how to figure out what makes you tick and the things that you need to put in your home based on what makes you happy.
Because to me, design is about what makes you happy, not about what a magazine tells you your home should look like.
Or even what I tell you your home should look like.
