He said, I don't know my goal.

I said, then how do you know what you want?

He said, I don't know.

I need you to help me do that.

I said, Well, I can't tell you what you want, but here's what I can tell you to do.

Write down

What would be awesome to have or be in five years?

And then

Write down what you're going to do tomorrow to get started towards that goal.

Because that's macro and micro at the same time.

And the thing about writing things down, it does hold you accountable.

Even if you throw it away, the fact that you wrote it down does feel like something with a little substance actually happened.

I have about four different journals.

And there's really no rhyme or reason to why I write in any of them, but I do write my goals down.

And if I have something that I'm really committed to in short to midterm, I put it on my wallpaper on my phone.

So my advice here when investing in yourself uh it is something you're trying to do.
