I did a kids book with Stanley, Stanley the Dog, and the first day at school, and it did well and I was super proud of it.
And it was the weirdest process because it was like fourteen pages and not even the
pages like my other books.
Like I wrote like a couple of lines on each page.
And then had to get illustrator.
And had to go through illustrators and finally pick an illustrator that matched like the style, the vibe that I wanted in this book.
And so we had to match my words with the illustr illustrator's drawings and
The whole process for the kids' book was over two years, which is wild because the whole process for like my normal books, the two that I wrote, was about fourteen months.
So you're talking about way less pages, way less words.
It's a children's book, and it took two years or so.
And of all the projects that I have done, like big national projects, I think that's the one that has made me by far the least money.
