One, it's so hard to get a book that you just love.

I'm not gonna spend a lot of time doing book nerd stuff.

But it's hard because if you don't love the book, you start to get a little frustrated because it's such an investment of time with a book because it's you you read it for a week or two weeks.

But when I read

That's the closest thing that I can get to meditation that works.

Because for me to actually comprehend what's on those pages.

I have to focus.

And if I'm focused on that, I'm not letting all the things from around me, all the distractions, distract me.

It could be work, it could be somebody I'm irritated at, somebody's irritated with me, uh something that didn't go well.

Uh so reading to me is an investment in myself.

And I have friends that have never been readers that I've just said, hey, if you'll like read this one book and you do 10 pages at a time, what's been really cool is I've seen it really pay off for them where they're now readers.

Still doing ten pages at a time.

So my I'm not even gonna say challenge because this may not be the way you want to best in yourself.

But if you can you find a book and you read ten pages a day.

If you love the book, you'll end up reading twelve or thirteen, honestly.

But if you can force yourself to read ten, that book will be over so quick and you'll have t you'll feel more relaxed because again, you're focused.

That's what meditation is, right?

Eliminating all the outside noise.

And that's why you say your mantra or whatever you want to say, uh, your slogan, your phrase over and over again because you're just trying to focus on it to eliminate all the sound around you.

That's what reading does for me.
