Like there's gotta be some things that are leading to that when he's not a play caller on either side of the football.
And I thought he really said it well when he talked about, like, you have principles that are written in stone.
They aren't ever going to change.
You're never going to compromise.
You have to have those principles.
And those are your vision for the team.
But the methods of how you enact those principles, those change.
So you draw those up in the dirt at times.
They have to be moving and changing, whether it's play calling, blitz packages, protections, the way you run practices.
That's changed a lot in the NFL.
Weightlifting.
I love that because, unfortunately, I think coaches fall on way too opposite of the spectrum on this all the time, where you have the coaches like,
I think Dable to an extent, Doug Peterson, was his downfall in Philly despite winning a Super Bowl, where they're just, yeah, I'll do what I'm told.
I'll do whatever I can to save my job for a year.
I just kind of go with the wind.
Whatever I feel that day or that week or whatever helps get me back for another month or another year.
And I don't like that.
It's one of the reasons I did not like Kevin Stefanski.
Where does he show any backbone as a head coach?
I have not seen it.
