But the other parts of the Chris Mara thing is, uh,

He was asked, because ownership hasn't talked since they fired Brian D'Abel and decided to keep Joe Shane.

He was asked about, you guys haven't talked about that.

What was your thoughts on, what was the reason behind that?

And

As you notice, he didn't defend Shane.

He basically said, like, ah, you know, he's here because you heard what John Harbaugh said about him.

He knows the National Football League really well.

And he even said, like, I think, you know, John Harbaugh probably knows him better than I do.

Which I don't necessarily believe, but it's a weird comment for...

a GM who's been in the building for four years and a head coach who has been talking to Joe Shane for a week.

I don't think Chris Mara truly believes that, but it does raise your eyebrows because there's rumors of Chris Mara not being the biggest fan of Joe Shane in the world.

It definitely raised your eyebrows.

But Chris Mayer has essentially taken over.
