Well, Booger, what about the money?
Well, there's plenty of money out there.
Well, it sounds to me, and this is just my gut feeling, and you know more about the T V game than I do, so I'm gonna throw this to you.
It seems to me that the big push is, hey, let's go to twenty four.
Why?
Because as far as the percentage of teams that play the sport that have an opportunity to compete for uh uh a title
Football has the lowest percentage.
That's number one.
Number two, championships game, championship conference championship games are old and antiquated.
And thirdly
Fox wants to be able to put games on their network.
It seems to me that the powers to be think that ESPN has a monopoly on the playoff.
Does that play a factor?
I don't know.
You know how this business works better than I do.
I just don't think we need to jump to twenty four, Dan.
No, like it it's part of life, Dan.
Like everything isn't fair in life.
And sometimes it sometimes things go against you.
Uh I'm pretty sure you guys have discussed a lot of things in sports that weren't necessarily right or weren't necessarily fair, but you can't go back and change it.
