I always love appearing and uh Lane, myself and Dawn really enjoy this thing and we're glad we can do this for the franchise industry and this is something we want to continue to do.

I was hoping no one was going to notice that line dancing thing, but I guess it's out there.
Well, I'll kind of give you the background of how it happened.
This was the second year we did it, and we kind of decided to put something together.
A bunch of us enfranchised a bunch of us, myself, Lane Fisher, and Don Cain, but really it started because me and Lane – I'm not saying – probably the best English here –
And Paul Rocchio and Scott Lear from the IFA and Steve Greenbaum and Brian Spindell from PostNet were all skiing together.
And we said, wow, this is a great time.
And like when we're always together, somehow franchising always becomes part of our discussions.
And we said, what a great opportunity.
And it was more of a casual thing.
And we said, how do we all get together?
And, you know, IFA does, as we all know, IFA does a fabulous job in putting together some great conferences.
But
In a lot of cases, it's a lot of meetings, and so we figured how do we put together where we can have discussions at times, but if a lot of our discussions in our situation was done on the chairlift and sitting around talking after the day of skiing or over a meal, and that's how we decided to do it.
How do we put something together?
That's why we called it the Unconference, knowing that people really want to have some really intimate discussions on a smaller basis in a smaller audience, and that's how the Unconference kind of began, and
It was started in Park City because that's where we were skiing in those days.
