I passed a great bill in the city council called the Freelances and Free Act makes New York City the first place to really protect freelancers from getting stiffed and screwed by companies that hired them.

That bill passed 51 to nothing because even the Trump supporting Republicans know you can't screw the people that, you know, that you hire.

So there will be opportunities.

Members of Congress should fight like hell to take some of the power back from the imperial presidency that both Democrats and Republicans have let happen.

So there's times for that.

There's absolutely times for democratic unity.

But you also can't be afraid.

You have to be willing, putting that discharge petition on the floor in the way that

Ro Khanna and Thomas Massey did on the War Powers Resolution and on the Epstein files.

So time to compromise and time to fight.
