And I do find it funny how instantly you have like more progressive, social progressive types saying like, this is gender affirming care.
This is just like the trans people they don't want in the military.
And I'm like, these really aren't the same thing, actually.
I mean, it is one of the frustrating things you encounter.
Obviously, I'm not a doctor, but it is a basic principle of medicine that similar treatments for totally different conditions are not the same thing.
So it's like if you're taking hormone therapy to treat a psychological condition, that's just categorically not the same thing as upping your testosterone level if you age and it's lower so that you have more energy or that you maintain muscle or what have you.
It's just apples to oranges, but they try to do that gotcha on this story.
Well, there's really so much.
But I think simultaneously, I'm pretty disturbed by the rise of the Democratic Socialists of America, the DSA, and just the far left types who just, I mean, they're pretty open about it.
That's the one thing I'll give them credit for.
They just want to rip everything down, destroy the American system and capitalism.
They just want absolute open borders.
Well, I think you're assuming that they want to do it through the rule of law, which would require a constitutional amendment, but I don't really think that's what they have in mind.
I mean, the DSA is run by people who are violent revolutionaries, so I think they wouldn't care, ultimately, if enough of them got in power about how they're supposed to do it.
Well, it's funny.
The Senate actually benefits a lot of blue states.
I'm from Rhode Island.
Rhode Island barely has any people, but it sends two Democratic senators into perpetuity.
It's like they always think of the little states benefiting from the Senate existing.
And they're like, oh, this is hurting Democrats.
