A therapist should be allowed.
Because part of the problem is the law defined not just talking about changing your identity, but also your practices.
And sexual practices, wanting to change that, is different than, for example, saying we're going to turn you straight.

If you want to go to a Christian counselor who's going to tell you that as a gay person, God calls on you to be celibate and abstain from same-sex relations.
Listen, do I agree with that?
No.
But do I think you probably have a right to do that?
