it's hard to give a player a no trade and then bitch about it.
But that also doesn't prevent teams from going to players if something comes up that they feel is beneficial for the team, at least to have a discussion with the player about it.
Well, I think Craig's a good coach and it hasn't gone well.
There's lots of criticism and rightly so for the manager.
There's lots of criticism for all of us.
And so those are things that, you know, we all get evaluated at the end of the season.
And there's things that I think all of us will look back on.
management, coaches, players included, of things we could have done better, should have done better, ways to improve.
So that autopsy will occur.
But at this particular time, I don't think there's... Craig is going to be the coach.
He's going to remain the coach.
And at the appropriate time, we all...
sit down and talk about ways that we can improve and do a better job.
Well, I know a lot gets paid.
Attention gets paid to the production, and rightly so.
I understand that.
I think Austin, he does a lot more than just score.
But he is, in my mind, one of, if not the most prolific goal scorers of his era.
So sometimes it hasn't gone in for him.
There's a responsibility on myself and the team to get players around him to assist him.
