And coaching was – I worked with great people that allowed me to coach, allowed me to keep getting better at my trade.

The challenge became more on the financial end.

You're not making any money, so to speak, and it's hard, and you're raising three kids.

My wife was a third-grade school teacher for 23 years, and you're just trying to figure out how to make money.

Life happened in the best possible way.

And it was hard to afford daycare.

And then I was never home.

I was of no help.

So that was the biggest challenge, the love for the job.

It never really crossed my mind to go do anything else.

Uh, but you know, I've always been in the, of the philosophy and my dad raised me this way.

Good things happen to those who work hard, just kind of keep your nose to the grindstone and, and, and everybody runs their race at a different pace.

And, and, uh, you know, I just kind of stuck to that.

So I sat here today probably, uh, because of that advice.

We scrimmaged Florida, and I knew right then, I said, okay, we can be pretty good.

Because I knew we had something then in Keaton that I didn't know before being a freshman.

We were without Andre Stojakovic in that.

He was out seven weeks.

And then Tomislav Ivicic missed 16 days of practice with his tonsils out.

And he was just back for that.
