I guess selfishly, being a nine, and the fact that you probably would have played him a few times when you were over in France, what is it actually like playing him in person and being able to see it live?

Because we talk a lot around Cam Roygaard and his evolution over the probably last 12 months, but we still see the pond as probably the best in the world, but

What do you see in and around his game that you were just like, wow, that's why he's so highly rated and touted?

I guess just with the French style that they do play, like you said, there's detail but then there's not detail depending on what teams you are in, I guess with the French and that, but is there a big emphasis on being able to keep the ball alive, offloading, counter-attacking, because it just does seem when they do get their opportunities, there's like a sense of energy and a burst and then they're able to get it right?

winger goes back picks it up and quick throws yeah like the kobe had done it and now i guarantee you'll see it uh in a couple weeks the funny thing is like any time we played day of renewal we went at kobe uh we'd see that picture there's a nine you just try and race to the ball you touch the ball so that you can't throw the quick throw so there are a little ways to try and get through it but um yeah they'll do a lot of temper with david bro i just wanted to come back to also like the breakdown area and i guess maybe being with dave running and understanding like

think that the breakdown is a big area for the all blacks moving forward especially not just for the french series but moving forward but how big is he in and around the detail around the breakdown area and being able to try to play the quick tempo because that's where we probably want to see where the all blacks this year if you think about dave or any lead teams and i you know the the chiefs those two years where they where they won um super rugby they were just incredibly violent at breakdown time

We've talked about it so much this year, so much quality and so much depth around the least forward trio.

Who would you pick as your six, seven and eight?

Coming from a halfback, obviously, you know.

We're big fans of Luke, and obviously Big Ross here is a big fan of the Luke Jackson fan club.

For someone that's played with him, Drip and I probably didn't get the opportunity to be able to play with him, but maybe you're telling what makes him so special.

We know that he's got iron shoulders, we've consistently said that a lot, but what do you value so much about Luke?

Did you just find, even with that being the rules, for the product, it was actually better?

Or there wasn't a really big difference around it?

Did it really matter?

write them off yeah like play into that exactly so you know they've experienced coming down last year knowing that what it's going to be able to be like very similar being at forsyth bar going to be down in christchurch going to be under a dry roof so yeah especially when you play with the bordeaux backline they've got nothing to lose and sometimes they might be the most dangerous part of a french team with nothing to lose i will say it is a better team that came down here last year so that's worries me a little bit as a as an all-blacks fan

know if you felt when you paid for mitsubishi but um very good around like well the carrying claim was always big for them they had really good ball carriers you know brady retaliate world-class uh gerato mariner arty severe antonina brown it's a really good big big ball carries on the outside so that physicality advantage on would be really important but then i think also like their backs swing very very well they're able to get into picture um being able to make multiple opportunities to see the short ball out the back kicking in behind off the edge as well so but again like

new environments you know the detail wise uh is are all those backs going to be able to see all that space because they've got info coming in through the week especially if it's more being fingering on all four they're going to debut you know so

Yeah, because when you were with Dave Reid, I'm pretty sure you were there, Brad, but he's not afraid to make changes based on form.
