And I did.

And I started crying.

But I got a moment where I got to thank him for everything when I was on stage.

I'd be like, thank you for... And I got to have that moment and to have an audience, a theater full of people cheering for my father.

done that that would beat any you did it yeah you did it that would be any that beats any celebrity interaction get me in any room with the coolest alive that beats that i'll i'll take that any day of the week so yeah dad with you now no uh he passed uh four years ago we just hit the anniversary he died on mother's day because he had to take the attention away from my mom you know

Yeah, my dad was a damn rock star.

He had skin cancer, heart issues, two fake hips, ended up passing of ALS, and yeah, and lived to be 77, and...

Here's what I tell people about it.

Because I don't talk about it on stage yet.

I'm not ready.

It's four years later.

I'm still not ready.

I'll talk about it on a podcast because I don't have to have a punchline every 30 seconds.

But what I tell people is the fact that it hurts as much as it does, and it still does, I find a blessing.

Because the fact that I am sad that my dad is no longer with us is...

proof that I was lucky enough to have an amazing father.

If your parent passes and you feel nothing or God forbid, you're happy.
