I mean, my my thought was like exactly the same for both Canada and the US, and we've talked about this a couple of times.

It's like w you know, and this is why bond markets are always wrong, right?
podcast-host
Because they're trying to price in five years of rates or ten years or whatever the curve is.
podcast-host
But the reality is, you know, within that time frame that thing the variables change.
podcast-host
The variables right now would tell me, yeah, why would either Canada or the US make any changes to rates?
podcast-host
But then I but you know, Samoa and I
podcast-host
were sort of talking about and at the be at the top of the episode we're talking about like Walmart as an example.
podcast-host
You know, the you know, c consumption does seem to be breaking a little bit, not to the point where I think central banks ha are right to be concerned about it, but they're always too late.
podcast-host
And the like we'll and when things I I do think we'll get to the point where we will can start to see more negative economic data and that'll start presenting a bit of a case that I think personally that you're any economic data that we're gonna get, especially with trade war on
podcast-host
going with cost push inflation from diesel and and gas potentially leading to demand destruction.
podcast-host
Any economic data that we're gonna get from here for the next twenty four months is probably gonna lean us more towards a cut than a than a hike, personally.
podcast-host
I don't know.
podcast-host
Anything you want to add there, Ron?
podcast-host
The the the only uh thing I uh other thing I would add on on the Walmart stuff or like any of these producers is that like to date they haven't really capitalized they've even even publicly said we're not gonna be capitalizing our our excess increasing fuel costs into uh our cost structure.
podcast-host
At a certain point they have to, right?
podcast-host
Like they're not just gonna give away they're not just gonna they're not in the business of losing money.
podcast-host
And I think if if you start to see goods start to escalate, then I mean again the demand destruction path
podcast-host
Does get does enter the the discussion, that's my opinion.
podcast-host
And then you see contraction.
podcast-host
I think you've got we talked about this at kind of the top end of the episode, but the the a K-shaped economy.
