But then I tend to land in a pretty good place.

But I remember like I was sitting on the couch and I mentioned this briefly at Fantasy Fest as well that

I was watching my partner play Assassin's Creed and I think the story or like the characters had been in my mind for some time but I was just waiting on that final kind of spark of inspiration.

And as I was watching him play the Assassin's Creed Odyssey game, it was like that was the moment that it clicked and I was like, we're going to add some Greek mythology inspiration to this.

And then I messaged my family.

We've got like a family group chat and I was like, I'm going to write a book.

Who's going to help me pay for it?

It's so expensive.

It's so expensive.

And then as soon as they were like, yeah, yeah, we'll do it.

And I was like, great, because I've got a mortgage.

Yeah.

And I want it to look extra.
