So any help is appreciated.

It's going to happen.

At least like they know that they were like, well, this has been what you've wanted to do since you were 12 years old.

So we're happy to support this.

I did pay them back.

I would have felt guilty about that if I didn't.

But at the time I was like, I need to know this is actually going to be possible before I commit to writing the book.

That's fair enough.

And, of course, I wasn't patient enough to go down the querying route because I'd set myself a deadline of my 30th birthday.

I'm seeing some themes here, yeah.

I'm impatient but I want to do things a particular way.

Yeah.

And like once I started, I couldn't stop.

I think I just as soon as I'd made that decision and maybe it was something that I'd subconsciously been waiting for that moment to feel ready and like everything was kind of in place for me to be able to do it the way I wanted to.

But it was pretty much four months of every single moment of spare time was spent writing or researching things for

the writing.

But I think it was, yeah, about four months on the first draft and then another two months on the second draft before I kind of sent it to other people to help read and edit, yeah.

I feel like that's still pretty fast.

It was very fast.

And I wish I could say it was like I'm a fast writer, but I'm not.
