Probably not as much as I know about dogs, but, you know, that's a different story.
I, like, did not realise there was so many different bird species out in the world.
But then, like, there was the challenge of trying to find ones that also could possibly be names for the code names of all of the spies.
But I absolutely love the aviary as well.
Everyone expects me to be a real big bird person.
I'm actually terrified of birds.
They're very scary.
They're so scary.
They're like tiny dinosaurs that can fly at you.
And some of them are so smart as well.
Yes.
Yes, exactly.
I think that like the...
Concept kind of started with, I suppose, finding like an image or a symbol of something that feels like it can be both free and trapped.
And of course, I think birds and like the idea of cages.
And I think that is something that really helps like conveys that whilst also being like pretty and aesthetic.
But like it works within the world building and then of course like, you know, you've got the fledglings who are the trainees essentially and then the songbirds who are the spies and then the nightwings who are the assassins and then the owls who are knowledge keepers and then right at the very top you've got the eagle.
And I really liked kind of building that into the hierarchy but then also having things like,
songs as the code word for information.
Um, and every time someone comes up, asked me like, Oh, why?
