Well, I would say there's a third thing, which is mineral-rich areas seem to attract this.
There is, and I think that may be a key part of why.

And Junior Hicks had detailed files going back to 1950 documenting hundreds of UFO sightings and bizarre incidents in that area.
And it's found in the book, the Utah UFO display.
He came on as a consultant, gave testimony to the reality of what had been going on there long before Bigelow or Sherman.
That's what people don't understand.
Our investigation has unearthed.
The fact that there are accounts that go back to the 1930s with the early homesteaders of bizarre cattle mutilation and other strange activity on this property.
We're talking almost 100 years of documented incidents, history.
Accounts, even accounts, the people coming on the ranch during the 60s, the 70s and the 80s and having encounters.
And these are credible people.
Law enforcement, even.
