The Bears fans deserve to be able to enjoy the Bears on the lakefront in a stadium that the Bears fans actually own.

Well, as I said before, up until April, we were working out a term sheet, because that's what you do in negotiations, because it's about the revenue shares.
And let's just be honest.
Look at the NFL stadiums across the league.
Publicly owned is the preference, right?
And look, the conversations that we have had up until the point of the end of April have always been centered around what type of agreements can we work out to ensure that there is public benefit and public use.
Those shares of revenue, we were in some healthy conversations around what the organization needed.
No, not since April.
Okay.
What conclusion are you drawing there?
April was last month.
That was a month ago before session ended.
All I'm saying is, think about what was said in February.
Where they had made an announcement in January, they were going somewhere else.
So don't dismiss the fact that the Bears were still in ongoing conversations as they were saying other things.
Here's the bottom line.
Bears fans deserve the opportunity to enjoy our beloved Bears.
