Exactly.
I think there's two primary variables.
One is you actually get the majority of the people aligned on a certain issue.
And war is an easy one to get people aligned on because you can pitch the story, your way of life is at risk if you don't put your petty differences aside and win the war.
And then the other side of the equation is, I'll just call it exhaustion.
So the people are sick of fighting.
They're sick of the chaos.
They want some normalcy.
They want to just do normal, basic, boring, white picket fence stuff, right?
So the mood shifts to exhaustion.
And the only way it shifts to exhaustion is if you see some sort of light at the end of the tunnel and we're ready to put down our swords, so to speak.
Yeah, so I think AI is definitely going to play a role, no question.
It's probably the biggest technology in our lifetimes, maybe ever, right?
If that's true, of course it has a role here.
Coming from the philosophy of the fourth turning from the authors, which I diverge on slightly, their perspective on technology is technology is always and forever coming and going and influencing society.
It is, of course, a force.
But the fourth turning lens says, how do the generational cohorts and which stage of life they're in, how do they respond to technology?
What is the mood around technology, right?
Right now, all of our social narratives are technology is bad, right?
Everything's about dystopia, the end of the world, everything's bad.
