And so that was the original idea.

Earlier in the early drafts of the essay was critiquing things like Ethereum, right?

where I don't think Ethereum has the same durability in the social protocol or the social contract that comes with the protocol.

However, now I think the SA has a new meaning and it's around fractured groups with different points of view.

And that's totally fine.

That is a natural state of Bitcoin.

That's the normal state.

And then we talk about that monoculture period between 2018 and 2022, which I agree was the most fun.

We're the...

We're the counterculture pushing back and it's exciting.

Back's against the wall.

We're on a mission.

It feels good.

And that's sort of eroded.

But I don't think that that's a negative thing.

aspect of Bitcoin.

I think that's genuinely a growth phase.

That is a phase of us outgrowing that small group of revolutionaries and attracting people that don't have the same political posture or the same things animate them.

And so, yeah, we had the finance orange tie group and we have all these, you know, the ordinals, art crew, whatever, these different factions.
