They do the case management, the life coaching, all of the behavior therapy, all of that.
And then my offices, Employment Development, everyone else are the ones that
connect them with the jobs, opportunities, all of that.
What you're speaking about is something else that we invest in heavily in the city of Baltimore, and that's actually community violence intervention at the street level.
For us, our flagship CBI program is Safe Streets.
We have 10 sites across the city of Baltimore, including two in Park Heights, where I grew up, where we actually, our community programs,
Our community organization partners employ people, even though it works through a very old program, they're actually private employees that used to be out on those corners, used to be involved in the violence to now intercede and mediate conflicts that can lead into violence.
Right.
But this is just one layer to the many.
That's just one of the many layers.
That's the street intervention that they do.
And I want to touch on that because what they do is critically important, right?
We'll use me for example.
Yes, I can go out on a corner of Park Heights and Cold Spring all day long.
I don't really need security to do that.
Like I grew up there, right?
I know folks have been there, but I still can't have the conversation that my friend who used to be on that same corner
doing the things that people do in that same corner with those people.
