That's the learning part.
That was actually pretty early on.
So, I started making all these mistakes.
I was just like picking these random companies.
It was not going very well for me.
I was listening to fund managers on the ASX talk about stocks they were buying and I was just buying them blindly and then they would go down 30% and I was like, what?
I thought these guys are supposed to know what they're talking about, you know?
So, yeah, I had those kind of tough lessons early on and then I just started making videos about what I was doing and where I'd gone wrong and what I'm learning about and
making videos about the Warren Buffett strategy.
And I read Phil Towns' book, Rule Number One, which was just an amazing eye-opener for me to this Warren Buffett way of thinking about things.
He is a US-based investor, just a Buffett-style investor that used to be a river guide in the Grand Canyon.
So he does not come from this background, actually learnt that investing strategy from someone that went on one of his
river guiding tours in the Grand Canyon.
So he learned this and then applied it.
And he's got this great story of turning a thousand bucks into one and a half million in about five years following this Warren Buffett style investment strategy.
So he was just exceptionally successful.
And once you get returns like that, people, money just floods to you.
You don't have to find the money, money finds you.
So he started a fund and he's been growing that.
