It's the same thing with YouTube.

I just kept grinding and it just kept working, I guess.

For folks that don't know, how do you make money from YouTube?

I make money from YouTube, obviously, through AdSense is the core way that YouTubers will make money.

So ads shown on their videos, YouTube will cut you in 55% of the ad revenue that they generate from the ads shown.

And then beyond that, it's sponsorship deals, brand partnerships.

But to be honest, that's a small part of my business these days, much more focused on doing the client work.

Um, I, yeah, I definitely agree with you.

And I actually sat down a few years back because the ad rates started really plummeting on finance content and just content in general.

And that was kind of like my moment where I looked at my business and I was like, hang on, I'm talking about this Warren Buffett style of investing, understand the business and then look for a moat.

I'm like, I've got the opposite of a moat.

My business is dependent on another company that being Google or YouTube.

Yeah.

So, it was at that moment I had this epiphany.

I was like, what am I doing?

It's like I preached these four pillars, but I'm not even following them myself in my own business journey.

So, that was definitely, I agree with you.

We shouldn't depend 100% on YouTube.
