In our paper, we found 32 times a day was average.
I don't know if that's going to maintain over the entire US population, but I can tell you like a secret right now in our study, more than 100 people have completed it, and the average is 38 right now.
We've also seen someone farting more than 300 times a day.

And what's amazing is they were eating a healthy high fiber diet.
So we have no idea how that's happening.
I think it's too embarrassing.
I think people kind of couch it as bloating when they go to their doctor, but they're not willing to share that they're farting all the time.
So we want to kind of open up the conversation and say, you know, it's okay to talk about farts.
It's a normal part of your digestion, but also it might be excessive.
And so when it's excessive, how do you know when it's excessive?
