from a supporter point of view no I mean it keeps the football pure and I mean human error is part of it you know whether it's on the pitch players making mistakes or a referee making a decision it's all pure but it's done with the right intent if you know what I mean it's never done to kind of

screw anyone over it's just I don't know it's just I mean where else in the world can you bump into a player in town or you know whatever and the players will stop and talk to you and I mean I remember being a kid at 8 and 9 going down to Richmond Park and you're meeting Trevor Malloy, Colin Hawkins and all these guys and some of them end up being my teammates you know like Trevor and Colin and

Liam Buckley, I would have watched as a player in the mid-90s when they won the league in 95, 96.

He ended up being my manager at Fingal and at St Pat's.

It's a very unique league.

I think the more real we keep it, the more kids we get into the ground, it will inspire different generations.

Look I think there's been a lot of change at the club so first of all you want to start off as good as you can the first kind of series of games and build on that and obviously a club like Waterford is probably looking at a cup competition having not won it for X amount of years.

It's a long, long time to be without a trophy at the top level.

So, you know, a good Cup run can really, you know, spur you on for the following season, as we saw with Drogheda a couple of years ago when they won the Cup and they went on to have a really good season last year.

So, you know, that's the type of thing we need to be looking at.

Obviously, it's going to be very difficult this year to break into that top half of the table with the teams that are on show in that half and probably the budgets that they have compared to maybe the ones in the other five.

So it's going to be really difficult, but, you know, it's a challenge that we're up for.
