Uh w we are a a a state, a city that presents as a united front, a team that can do the things that need to be done.
So yeah, uh uh what's happening here is uh probably in my head is the best case scenario.

First meeting with the NFL was in two thousand eleven.
Uh it was in a different place about its international strategy.
Um so it was a different sort of discussion at that stage.
Uh so yeah, that's been on the radar for a while.
They've they've been here.
They came in out about two thousand and fourteen, two thousand fifteen.
We had another discussion with them at that stage again.
Um
their international strategy wasn't where it needed to be.
W we we need to work within and with a partner who has a a a vision for what their um property wants to be and in both eleven and fifteen the NFL had probably a different view of where it wanted to be, but um this time round uh it's been a very different discussion.

There was a couple of moments in the way we did this.
Um so probably uh we were we were invited uh by the NFL to go to a uh a game in England at Tottenham last year.
Um
a along with a number of other places.
Uh and we had a great look at it and we we did some, you know, uh due diligence around that just to see where they're thinking about it.
