Yeah, it was really one of the first serious kind of offers, you know, with kind of how the season went last year and then even the previous year being non-tendered.

We had a feeling, you know, it would most likely be a non-roster invite, you know, with a chance to make the team.

So it just felt like a good opportunity, you know, possibly getting back to playing with Story.

You know, I got to play with Story for a couple years in the big leagues with the Rockies and,

We were obviously talking, and he said there's a great group of guys, a lot of young talent.

And I feel like it was just probably one of the best opportunities for me.

It was not recruiting.

It was kind of me reaching out, just kind of letting him know that, you know, the Red Sox were interested and that, you know, that it could be, you know, a good opportunity for me.

And, yeah, you know, we've tried to keep in contact as much as possible over the, you know, when we see each other, when we play and stuff.
