But I think that's part of it is that there's not very many names available.
And so Russ is unquestionably the most productive player out of all of the
the players that are available on the market right now.
I just wonder if it would be a little bit
complicated and it's just about embracing that role and it that being smooth and seamless throughout the course of the entire season.
The Darius Acuff is having a really bad first half of the month and Russ is playing really well.
Does the conversation start to shift of well should Russ be starting?
And because that needs to not take place.
Like Acuff needs to be able to go through all the growing pains that are gonna happen.
He's gonna have some bad stretches and it's probably gonna be really ugly for a little while.

And I think just having that added conversation and thing just floating in the background would make me
sh stry away from it more so than anything right now.
Yeah, I think what makes that dynamic so complicated with Doug and just what his future may hold is that if you gave that front office true serum, I don't think they would say honestly that they're expecting to win that many games this year either.
But that's how Doug shows he's a good coach.
And and the broader point would be creating an identity.
Like I think that's the thing that we've heard nonstop, obviously.
But the way that you do that is, hey, we won some games that we shouldn't have because we're playing to we're shooting 53s a game or we're playing faster than anybody else, or I hate that I'm saying, but nine defending ninety-two feet, even though they don't have the personnel even where close to be able to do that.
But like you sneak off some games and you're the Phoenix Suns last year because all of a sudden you have an identity.
And I I think that is what would really sell the whole identity point.
