It's all positive reinforcement and yeah. matched

You know, if you have something negative to say to a playing group or a player, it's done privately. matched

And that's where I've made my mistakes too, is I've, I've gone after you pickers in front of the group, you know, which doesn't make people better. matched

And we know that in business too, don't we? matched

people that are listening that are managers or CEOs or whatever is that, you know, and we've heard this comment before about, you know, you praise publicly and you criticize privately. matched

So that's where I think I've certainly made mistakes as a coach. matched

But, yeah, my time at Adelaide, I would have loved to have said that I started off super positive and reinforcement and, like you said, the storytelling and, matched

you know, let's go on a journey together and everyone's in. matched

But ultimately you get players who are sitting outside of the 22 who are desperate to get in and they're really hard conversations because they're playing well. matched

And then too, yeah, I was taught and I've always been set up and you and I played together pickers, but I think there are premiership standards and behaviours that you must adhere to. matched

And when your group or individuals start to step outside of those premiership behaviors and standards, then they're, they're the hard conversations. matched

They're the really hard conversations with players that you've got to have. matched

And I'll say it again, you know, praise publicly and, you know, press conferences and in front of the group. matched

But if you need to have those conversations around, you need to do things better. matched

It's the one-on-ones, having a coffee, and it's after when the emotion and the energy and the passion. matched

Because I was yelled at by coach Pickers from right in front of me, and his spit was hitting my face. matched

That's not how you get the best out of it. matched
