I never coach around motivation.
It's that there has to be, so he's all tactical and, you know, X's and O's in strategy.
But, um, but yeah, the themes are excellent.

You just, you sort of almost run out of ways to, to motivate or theme up a-

Yeah, it's interesting.
I mean, on the field pickers, there's good conflict and there's poor conflict.
So players, and these are super competitors, like these are young men who are desperate to win.
And both of those men are.
You can say stuff like they did on the field when it's stuff like, you know, you're meant to roll behind me or you need to stay deeper or, you know, you were meant to block and I was the go-to.
But then there's the poor conflict is the personal criticism, the blaming, the sarcasm, the body language that shows real disrespect.
So I think those conversations need to be had with the playing group before because there are conversations on the field that improves performance and there's conversations on the field that really does damage trust.
So, yeah, that wasn't a great look yesterday when we were watching it, but these things happen a lot.
And I was lucky enough to be at Geelong Pickers when there was Steve Johnson and Paul Chapman.
