In the NFL, it's who you're with.

And I would say that now, because this world is where we're at, I would say that who you're with is more important than ever, and

josh whitman uh vision and uh ability to hire people um just hired a new uh women's softball coach today that i think is going to be a rock star josh just has this incredible vision of seeing beyond what's in front of him and brad and i are very very tight and he's always been great about basketball in my opinion like with the nil and the revenue share and everything is always about a year or two ahead of where football is and and

And believe me, I'm not going to go hire a bunch of European players, believe me.

I'm not into that world.

But just the idea of it and the thought process of it is really, really cool.

Is that humanly conceivable?

I think there's a lot of guys that would look good in a basketball uniform or would also look good in a football uniform.

I walked through, my daughter and I went to a game, and we went through the stretch.

There was a little area where the players stretched beforehand.

And I've never been around so many damn tall, skinny white guys in my life.

It's just like I was screaming, hey, there's a tight end, there's a D end, there's a tight end, right?

First off, five for five, if you look at the last two years, Pat Bryant was a third-round draft pick that went to the Broncos two years ago.

And this year, Hank Beatty is a guy that went to the Tennessee Titans.

And I would just tell you, those two kids both would, in my opinion, I think Pat Bryant might have moved into a first-round draft pick if he had another year.

And Hank Beatty, in my opinion, would have been a mid-round, if not higher.

Those guys...

So at Illinois, we play guys, if we feel they can help us win, we play them.

And those two guys in particular, if they had one more year of eligibility, probably not only could it increase their draft status, but help Illinois win a lot of games.

We have five guys this year, if this thing gets passed in June, that I think could help us win a lot of games in the future.
