All right.
Where the hell were we?
A couple things.
Let me give a little love to one of our sponsors, and then I'll share a couple things with you guys that I wanted to get into.
First off, in the department where... Brian, you've been around long enough to know that everything I complain about comes to fruition, or everything I say is not true turns out not to be true.
And people want to know why, and it's easy.
You all...
have the answers they're all just within you when you hear and i don't know gary if you can find it or not but when i used to pass these billboards that would say you know 44 000 americans died of secondhand smoke i just go how could that be and then i would talk to dr drew and i'd go have you ever treated anybody died of secondhand smoke and he'd go now and then i'd say but and all your years as a physician in all the hospitals you've worked at and all the physicians you know and he'd go
No, it doesn't.
And then I realized I've never heard of a dignitary or a celebrity or a neighbor or anyone going, he died of secondhand smoke.
And then I realized, oh, this is bullshit because we'd all be dead.
Anyone who ever worked at a bar.
Traveled on an airplane.
Back in the day.
We'd just be dead, but yet it was almost 50,000.
I mean, that basically the same body count that we had in Vietnam was also โ
attributed to secondhand smoke.
And that's when I knew it was fucking bullshit.
And I was yelling.
I've been yelling about that since... Probably since it was a big thing in the early 90s or somewhere around there.
