Alan, you have no idea how excited I am to be talking to you.

So two days ago, there was a fatal shooting that left a 27-year-old young man dead.

However, interestingly, the primary suspect was unarmed.

All right, guys.

So you might know what we're talking about based on the title and thumbnail.

You might have figured out that riddle.

But I just have to say, this story has been dominating my social media.

the last 36 hours and I kept wavering like I was sending the clips and information to my producer I was talking about it with Alex and I was wavering because I did want to talk about it I found it really interesting but I obviously wanted to be respectful like a young man died this is a shooting it is a murder case but also the thing that everybody is talking about online is how insanely absurd the entire case is and like that is what I was drawn to that's what everybody was

was drawn to, and so I basically spent the entirety of today trying to figure out what I wanted to talk about, but I just kept coming back to this, and then it finally hit me that I needed to reframe the way that I thought about things, and I needed to take a new motto to heart.

And that new motto is, what would Tim Dillon do?

And Tim Dillon in this situation, I think, well he would tell the story, even though this is something that we absolutely should not laugh at, he would tell the story.

And then once we get through that absurdity and we talk about the internet's reaction, then we can get down to brass tacks and see the root of the story, which is completely and utterly heartbreaking.

So without further ado,

Here's what happened, and I'm going to try to say this with a straight face.
