It's through sharing these experiences that they've given me to people who are coming after me.
I have such a passion and want to grow that fan base so bad.

I'm in talks with the new ownership group, and hopefully we get something figured out.
But ultimately, I want to be at the ground level.
If you're a seasoned ticket holder, I want to know you.
I want to thank you.
Or if you're coming, corporate sponsors, suites, stuff like that.
I want to show my appreciation as a major leaguer for that team in that city to give back to my community and grow the fan base.
When did you know that I wanted to do that?
It was over the summer when I hung it up and I saw, like, I've always thought about that.
I told Eric Neander when he released me back in July of 2022 that I was going to be working for him one day.
Okay.
Yes, 100%.
And at the end of the day, that's how we're going to grow our sport.
That's how we're going to grow our cities.
It's players like myself who...
always believed and still do that the fans are the most important part of this game.
And I wanna remind major league players and professional players when we get to a point where we believe that we're the most important part of this game, is that's when we're gonna start going backwards.
And so just remember, you'd be a bunch of talent on a backfield if the fans didn't show up.
